Egyptian civilization was built on the fertile land near the lower reaches of the Nile. Annual
flooding of the river brought the rich soil from the upper stream land and caused ancient
Egyptians to develop solar calendar, geometry, architecture and astronomy.
Egypt was the key in traffic route connecting the Continents of Asia and Africa. And it is
surrounded by both the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Therefore it has been a geographically and historically strategic point.

 |
The Nile, the longest river in the world, spreads out fanwise about 200 km before entering the
Mediterranean Sea, forming the Nile Delta. The capital city Cairo is located just up the starting
point of the spreading of the Nile. The ancient, medieval and modern times coexist in the city.
There is order amid disorder. And you can see huge cemeteries.

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo has more than a hundred thousand works of art and antiquities
of the ancient Egypt, the biggest collection in the world. Things discovered in the tomb of
Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor in November 1922 are especially famous.

The "Book of the Dead" written in Egyptian hieroglyphics and hieratics is a collection of
ancient Egyptian funerary texts. They contain the "declaration of innocence" which consists
of the denial of a series of wrong-doings in order to assure that the dead lived a decent
life. Some of them are found on coffins or mummy cloths.
The Pharaohs were considered sons of the greatest god. They believed that the "ka", i.e.
the double or personality of a man, would return to its body and revive. So they
preserved a corpse as a mummy in a chamber of a tomb. During mummification, the bodies'
abdomens were opened and all organs were removed.
|
 |
They left only the heart in place, believing it to be the center of a person's being and
intelligence. They thought that revival was impossible without the heart.
Mummies of Tutmoses III, Seti I, Ramses II and III are exhibited at the gallery of the
mummies of the royal family. The coffins ofdead pharaohs are covered with pure gold.
You also find various luxurious burial accessories at the gallery.

Three Great Pyramids in Giza are usually known as tombs for the three pharaohs of the
Fourth Dynasty (2575-2467 BC), Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. But doubts remain because of l
ack of obvious evidence. No mummies of the pharaohs or grave goods were discovered in
these pyramids. And they were completely devoid of internal inscriptions except certain
suspicious hieroglyphic 'quarry marks' found inside the Great Pyramid.

 |
The text of the Inventory Stela in the Cairo Museum clearly indicates that both the Great
Sphinx and the Great Pyramid were already in existence long before Khufu came to the throne.
Unknown technology was used for the construction of the Pyramids. The Great Pyramid
in Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Great Pyramid consists of roughly 2.3 million individual blocks of limestone and granite.
Average-sized blocks weigh 2.5 tons, each of which might need 30 men to pull. Tens of
thousands of blocks weigh 15 tons or more. Some weigh about 70 tons. The Pyramids were
originally covered with highly polished casing stones that are now removed.

Graham Hancock, the author of 'Fingerprints of the Gods', a book about ancient civilizations
which sold millions worldwide, doubted that the Pyramid was constructed by the ancient
Egyptians of the Fourth Dynasty. Assuming that the masons worked ten hours a day, 365 days
a year, the mathematics indicate that they would have needed to place 31 blocks in
position every hour, about one block every two minutes, to complete the Pyramid in twenty
years. Moreover the Pyramid had to end up with its apex positioned exactly over the center
of its base. Even the minutest error in the angle of incline of any one of the sides at the base
would have led to a substantial misalignment of the edges at the apex. Incredible accuracy,
therefore, had to be maintained throughout,
at every course, hundreds of feet above the ground, with great stone blocks of killing weight.

As for the age of the Great Sphinx, geologists John West and Professor Robert Schoch of
Boston University "put the date somewhere between 5000 BC and 7000 BC minimum or
probably older than 10,000 BC after investigating the erosion of the body of the Sphinx
and the walls of the Sphinx ditch caused by wind and rainfall". Graham Hancock suggested
the possibility that the Great Pyramid and the Great Sphinx were built about more than
10,000 years ago by beings from a supercivilization out of the earth. Lots of incredible
accuracy and precision achieved during the construction of the Great Pyramid remain a
mystery hard to understand with modern technology. Who accomplished these enigmatic wonders? How and Why? |

- by Poetess Eunmi Lee - |
Behold, Father!
The pyramids seen from the Garden of Eden
in the second heaven
Praise God the Trinity as three brilliant stars!
How could I recompense lovingkindness
To the One who has formed me,
To the One who has given me the authority
to rule over the first heaven and the earth,
To the One who has bestowed upon me
majesty and power over all His creation?
As Your son witnessed,
After a long stretch of time had passed in
Eden,
The rebellion and destruction of Your
beloved dinosaurs,He has been made aware
of the Father¡¯s love,And in honor and memory
of that love,
Your son has built on a calm spot along the
Nile That is as abundant as the Garden of
the Lord,A small monument symbolizing the
Trinity.
Your son has adorned the pyramids with love
for his heavenly Father With stones and
marbles shining as brilliantly as crystals
Brought to this world on a UFO,
The chariots of clouds in the Garden of Eden,
And built the three sculptures in gladness.
In the image of a cherub
Your son has also carved for You a sphinx
That had kept to and kept guard of Your son.
As all this has been done
By the power You have given me,
May they be pleasing in Your sight and
May they comfort You.
The universe and all the things therein,
Each formed by the Father of majesty,
Shall magnify God the Trinity and
Praise God the Creator forevermore!
